Markham P4K Chapter

The Markham P4K Chapter began in the Spring of 2010 by a grade 8 student, Divya Shah, who wanted to make a difference in the lives of the children that P4K was helping in Niger. In 2011 she introduced P4K to her Secondary School and has also been in touch with other students and community members throughout the Markham community. The Markham chapter has raised funds with bake sales and other fundraising events, communicated with the sewing girls in Libore, and raised awareness at home.

If you live in Markham and want to get involved, please contact Divya, at and she will put you in touch with the current President of Markham P4K.

Divya is now the President of the Queen's University P4K Chapter so if you are a University student and want to start a chapter, please contact Divya and she can explain how to proceed.
